But this is the era of science fiction, the moment when everything is possible, you just need to think it.
A Burger’s Odyssey
Burgers, those delectable bundles of flavour, have a way of bringing people together. But what if we told you that they could also unite galaxies? Super Star Signal, a collaboration between the visionary minds at And Us Agency and the culinary wizards at Hardees. Our mission? To catapult the DNA of a Superstar Burger into the cosmos, because even space-faring beings deserve a taste of our culture!
Building a Cosmic Antenna
A 6-meter-diameter antenna, high-resolution camera, powerful radio transmitter, signal decoder, a communication satellite, meticulous planning, and resilient equipment . Building it turned out to be quite a complex and challenging task. Regrettably, IKEA does not yet offer antennas like these complete with instruction manuals…
Constructing the antenna was already an ambitious challenge, but it was still necessary to transport it from Lisbon and install it all the way to the top of a restaurant in Dubai. Fortunately, nothing in the age of science fiction lacks a solution.
The DNA of the Superstar Burger was then transformed into a digital code, a binary representation of our bold flavours. We encoded it into electromagnetic waves, beaming out our greetings to anyone who might be listening out in the Cosmos.
More Than Just a Meal
Super Star Signal isn’t just a quirky endeavour; it’s an homage to human curiosity, creativity, and the joy of exploration. Sure, the idea of burger DNA in space might sound whimsical, but it’s also a representation of the dreams we dare to chase. Our cosmic burger message transcends boundaries, inviting distant civilizations to ponder our existence and perhaps even share a laugh or two. We just hope we haven’t caused too many upset stomachs in ETs.
